Gdansk is the city, which is a must to come and to visit all its attractions. The massive gothic brick Church of Our Lady looming over the city, Long Market – one of the most beautiful market places in Europe, surrounded by a number of richly decorated facades of renaissance city houses with the statue of Neptune occupying the centre, the Old Medieval Crane dreaming on the Motlawa Bank – these are Gdansk’s landmarks. The city by the Baltic Sea, the hometown of Hevelius, Fahrenheit, Schopenhauer, Grass and Walesa, is one of the most attractive tourist destinations. 

Gdansk surprises with the multitude of listed examples of city, church, military and port architecture, with the millennia of fascinating culture and tumultuous history as well as with the unique atmosphere of the place where the past and the modern unite in perfect harmony to create an inimitable cityscape.


We start our guided walk from the Golden Gate- Long Street Gate, which opens the Royal Route and where you can admire beautifully decorated facades. After visiting the Main Town Hall, Long Market and Arthus Court you will find the wooden construction of a 15th century crane still dominating the embankment. Next we will proceed to the most picturesque street in the Main City, Mariacka Street where you will find wide choice of souvenir shops, and amber galleries, cafes. Visiting St. Mary’s Church, the biggest brick church in the world.
